This month for Hiking with Hope we are headed out to Antelope Island to find dry land! This winter has been such a dry one that it’s leaving the higher elevation trails either very icy, very slushy or very muddy! Antelope Island is completely dry with several options of trails for all levels! For this month we are going on the White Rock Loop Trail. This is a 6.2 mile loop trail. It’s moderately easy and the views are spectacular all the way around! The trail can get sandy in some spots which make it a bit difficult for biking, but not impossible. You can also take your horses on this trail as well as leashed dogs. Even though we are experiencing warmer than normal temps always be prepared with layers and plenty of water! I hope you enjoy this hike as much as I do! Anytime out on Antelope Island is always an awesome experience!
